Recovering alcoholics are really onto something. They've discovered over at AA that they can accomplish more with a support group in place than they can working individually. Their struggle with addiction seems a lot more manageable knowing that they're not alone in their struggle. So where's the support group for those of us who support our families Where are the Mom and Dad support groups And what should these support groups even look like

1 Vote(s)

So the first step we're taking is to repair the damage done before we became Cash Money Superstars. We've met with a credit rehabilitation specialist who does all the hard work for us. Here's Step 1. The Game Plan: She helps us understand what we should pay off first and how we should do it. Sometimes paying off a debt completely is not the best strategy as it will re-age the debt on your credit record...

1 Vote(s)

I'm sending more traffic over to the idot savants at I Can Has Cheezburger And this isn't the first time, recently I had my entire office on that cursedly cute site. My boss was about to tape a page from another coworker's cat calendar to her office door. I told her about Cheezburger and the other lolcats/lolpets and we got the idea to each adopt a cat (or rabbit or guinea pig) and hang it on our office doors and guess what

3 Vote(s)

You also don't have anyone to tell you your little play project might not be such a good idea (remind me to post the video of the tower of blocks we knocked over with the ceiling fan!).

1 Vote(s)

You've heard the expression "bringing home the bacon", usually used when referring to a man making money for his family. This phrase goes back to the Hunter/Gatherers (or as I'll show you it should be phrased, the Gatherer/Hunters). Women would gather the food and materials that everyone needed and the men would go and hunt Woolly Mammoth and everyone worked an average of 2 hours each day. Now we can have an even better existence and we can do this by supporting our wives.

1 Vote(s)

I was thinking about the book How to Think like Leonardo da Vinci last night as I watched my 3 month old daughter sleep. In the book Michael Gelb shows you how to experience and observe things more richly. Gelb writes that Leonardo encouraged his pupils to look so closely at something familiar like the very ground beneath their feet; the grass, twigs and puddles. If they looked at it long enough they could see the most incredible foreign landscapes.

1 Vote(s)

I tried endlessly to get other jobs using mainly my trusty resume. Talk about disheartening! I got almost nowhere and wasted way too much time and Crane's watermark paper. I should have started a blog! Since I started this blog I have met the most interesting people, people I have a great deal in common with. I've also had people contact me about my online marketing services. I think this is amazing considering the few short weeks this blog has been up.

1 Vote(s)

I made the transformation from a typical American Consumer into a Cash Money Superstar. I actually switched everything I did to a cash transaction and to really get myself psyched about using cash only, I closed my checking account!

2 Vote(s)
